Ashleigh Nixon joined Balmer & Associates in 2021, bringing over 15 years of experience in the criminal law industry gained at several reputable criminal law firms.

Ashleigh is responsible for the day-to-day running of the firm, ensuring an efficient and productive working environment. She also manages accounts, providing reliable financial oversight and support.

Charlie Watkins
Senior Legal Assistant
Charlie first joined Balmer & Associates in 2022, and has re-joined us again in 2025.

Currently in her 3rd year of a Bachelor of Laws at Swinburne, Charlie has years of dedicated experience in criminal and VLA procedure, and has also worked closely with barristers during her time working as a clerk at Foley's List.

Charlie is dedicated to her work, and her expertise and commitment foster strong relationships between our team and our clients.

Michael joined Balmer & Associates in 2024 as a Legal Assistant.
He brings a strong understanding of criminal law and Victoria Legal Aid (VLA) procedures to the firm.
